I absolutely love being Black! It’s a blessing to be this melanated and to be a part of a culture rich in heritage and history. At the start of the month, I made a playlist to celebrate my Blackness entitled “Black Gold” and I am sharing it with you.   2. Pleasee dont take my black card away. Clearly I need to look at your playlist. I have not heard of have of these songs. I do make sure we sing the national anthem during our black history program ever year. I know the saying im black and proud but dont think ive ever heard the actual song.

  3. I’m about to jam out to your playlist. At first, I thought I could find a favorite, but I like so many of these songs. Now I can’t get them out of my hair. They are just what the spirit needs.
